Amundi Ireland on-boards six new Tech Apprentices

Amundi Ireland is delighted to have on-boarded its first intake of Tech Apprentices through the 'FastTrack into IT' (FIT) programme.

The apprenticeship scheme, which runs for two years, provides school-leavers and career changers with a structured path towards a career in IT by combining academic training with workplace experience.

According to local IT Country Manager - Graham Kenny, “Our six apprentices are now well integrated into the Amundi Ireland IT Team and already making a positive contribution in the areas of software development, software testing and application support.”

Following an initial 6 months of dedicated classroom time, our apprentices are now applying their newly learnt skills three days-per-week in our George’s Quay hub and continue their studies for the remaining two days-per-week.

“We are delighted with our 6 new FIT Apprentices. Amundi have always been a great supporter of Apprenticeship programs in Ireland and we hope to grow our relationship with FIT over the coming years to get more access to untapped talent in the Irish Market”.
